- Imad Makhzoumi
Chief Operating Officer Future Pipe Industries Group Mr. Imad Makhzoumi completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering and Water Resource Management at the University of Southern California in the United States and holds a diploma in Business from McGill University in Canada. He is a member of the American Business Council in Dubai, a founding member of the Dubai Capital Club and he currently serves as President of the International Desalination Association. He is also a frequent speaker and panellist on a number of industry forums and conferences including WETEX, NACE and PMI.
- Dr. Omar Ashur
Chief Financial Officer Future Group Dr. Omar Ashur completed his undergraduate education in Physics at the American University of Beirut and also holds an MBA in Finance, an MA in Business Economics and a PhD in Business Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
He joined Future Pipe Industries, part of the Future Group, in 1995 as a Group Vice President of Finance and in 2000 he was appointed Executive Vice President of Gulf Eternit Industries. Following that, in 2003, Dr. Ashur became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) where he was responsible for leading and directing all of the Group’s financial activities.
Prior to joining Future Pipe Industries, Dr. Ashur held various leadership positions with Petrogas (UK) Limited, Anglokindom (UK) Limited, and Mediterranee Investors Group SA.
Dr. Omar Ashur took up his current position of Chief Financial Officer of the Future Group in July 2009 and he continues to serve on the Board of Future Pipe Industries Group as Non-executive Director. - Antoine Habib
Executive President Future Realty Antoine Habib is the Executive President of Future Realty SAL, part of the Future Group, responsible for managing all real estate projects under development in Lebanon and abroad.
Prior to joining the Future Group in October 2008, Mr. Habib spent more than twenty years with Future Pipe Industries, part of the Future Group, both in Dubai and in Lebanon. He joined in 1987 as Vice President Sales and Marketing for Gulf Eternit Industries, the Group’s first factory in Dubai, and moved to Lebanon in 1995 to manage Future Pipe Industries’ expansion into the country. In his capacity of Executive Vice President, he managed the new establishment and developed new markets in the Levant Area and Europe. In 2003 he was promoted to Regional President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia in charge of the Group’s plants in Lebanon, Egypt and The Netherlands.
In addition to his current position as Executive President of Future Realty SAS, Antoine Habib holds the role of Future Pipe Group Consultant for Business Development and serves as a Board Member of the EMEA Engineering Group, part of the Future Group.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, is a Board Member of the Lebanese Dutch Business Association, a member of the Lebanese Industrialist Association and the Lebanese Economic Forum and is also a member of the IDA, the International Desalination Association. - Saba Zreik
Legal Consultant, Manager Manal Consultancy SARL, Beirut, Lebanon Mr. Saba Zreik is a member of the Executive Committee, the Secretary and the Legal Counsel of the Makhzoumi Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Future Group, and is also the Founder and Manager of his own legal and management consultancy firm, Manal Consultancy SARL, which he manages out of Lebanon.
He served as the Chief Legal Officer of Future Pipe Industries Group for over twenty years, where he was responsible for overseeing the management of all legal issues concerning the Group and its subsidiaries and affiliates providing professional legal advice to corporate and senior management with regard to all aspects of applicable business law and legislation.
Prior to joining Future Pipe Industries, Mr. Zreik held several positions as a House Counsel and Legal Consultant for Amiantit, Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation, Correspondent of Hale and Dorr LLP, Associate in Lebanon of Fox & Gibbons solicitors, and President of his own Swiss consultancy firm, Manal Consultancy AG, established in 1985. Mr. Zreik completed his education in Law at St. Joseph University in Lebanon; he subsequently earned a Master’s of comparative law degree from Georgetown University and is currently a PhD candidate at both Université Panthéon-Assas, Paris II, and St. Joseph University Law School in Beirut.
He is a member of the American Philatelic Society.
- Ghassan Ejjeh
Senior Vice President Director of Six Construct UAE and BESIX SANOTEC SA Director of Ajman Private Sewage Company Past President and Director of IDA Mr. Ghassan Ejjeh is one of the most recognized experts in the Desalination and Water Reuse Industry. His qualifications and many years of industrial experience lead to his recognition and worldwide election to be a President of the International Desalination Association (IDA). He also served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Election and Membership committees. His distinguished service for IDA is recognized by his peers with continuous election to the Board of Directors on which he serves as a member of Executive Operation Committee and a Member of the Environmental Task Force.
Mr. Ejjeh’s 30 years experience in the Middle East, both technical and commercial, has allowed him to lead and develop many large scale power desalination projects. In addition he is a vocal champion for Waster Water Reuse.
Mr. Ejjeh is a recognized authority and well known speaker at conferences, forums and seminars and was a Chairman of the World Congress on Desalination and Water Reuse in Bahrain. He has made over 50 presentations on the subject at industry events. He is fluent in several languages including English, French and Arabic.
Mr. Ejjeh has provided consultation and advice to many leading corporations, particularly in the Middle East and GCC countries. He is on the Board of numerous organizations and companies. He is very well acquainted with the customs and rules and regulations of the Middle East. Through his experience, he is very familiar with the Water and Power Utilities of the Region and commands great personal respect with the Government Leaders as well as the Industry.
He is fully committed to the task he undertakes, with unmatched passion and integrity.
- Fady Juez
Managing Director Metito Overseas Ltd. - UAE Fady graduated from the American University in Lebanon as a Mechanical Engineer in 1980. After working for four years with G.E. Power, he joined Metito in 1985 in Cyprus with the mandate to establish and develop Metito’s business in the Gulf States. In 1988, he moved to Saudi Arabia as the head of contracting, and was promoted in 1990 to the position of Managing Director - Cyprus, before he moved to the UAE in 1996 to resume his position as the Managing Director. Fady’s major contribution to the group has been heading and leading the expansion programs of Metito’s business in the Middle East and South East Asia.
